Mr. Humphrey has been in private practice since 1966, providing design, construction and supervision of various projects ranging in scope from $500,000 to $20,000,000 in construction cost. Extensive experience with a variety of projects, performing a full range of services from initial facilities analysis and recommendation, preparation of construction documents, acquisition of necessary permits, and ensuring successful project completion in a timely fashion and within budget.

Projects include work performed for governmental agencies such as the Department of the Navy, Dade County, Orange and Sumter County School Boards. In the private sector, Walt Disney World, W.R. Grace, Travelodge, Marshall’s and K-Mart Department Stores, and numerous hospitals and nursing homes in the State of Florida, recently for Orlando Regional Medical Center, Florida Hospital, Memorial Hospital, Halifax Health Medical Center and Moffitt Cancer Center.

Vice President of Fred M. Humphrey & Associates, Inc. since 1979, in the capacity of project management, programming, space planning and interior design. Developed computer-based master specification system currently in use by the firm. Project Production Manager for the firm on recent health care projects including Orlando Regional Healthcare System, Orlando Cancer Center, M.D. Andersen Affiliation and Pediatric Endoscopy Suite, Sleep-Therapy & Bio-Med for Arnold Palmer Hospital

Prior to 1979, worked with various Architectural Engineering firms in the capacity of staff designer to project manager. Experience emphasis is on project programming from initial data collection, feasibility studies, analysis of existing facilities, future growth needs, space planning, production of master plan and development studies. Projects include Lake, Orange and Osceola County governmental facilities, Sun Bank World Headquarters and studies for Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Twenty years experience in all aspects of Architectural practice ranging from Feasibility Studies, Programming and Schematic Design to Construction Administration. Architecturally responsible for design, production and management of variable size projects including multi-million dollar facilities. Performed a variety of architectural services to benefit the successful completion of projects within project schedule, scope and budget. Multi-tasking skills ensure challenges are met promptly and with confidence of a positive outcome.

Mr. Smith’s responsibilities include managing projects in all phases of project delivery. This includes coordination and communication with clients, planning and building department officials, project contractors, engineers, consultants and staff.
