Fred M. Humphrey and Associates, Inc. has been providing architectural services in Florida since 1974. Mr. Humphrey was in private practice in South Florida, beginning in 1966 where he performed architectural services for Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami School of Medicine and Palm Springs Hospital. Principals in the firm are Fred M. Humphrey and Roseann Latta, both registered architects and actively practice full time in the firm.

In 1983 FMHA provided architectural services for modification and additions to the Navy Hospital and Recruit Outpatient Clinic at the Naval Training Center in Orlando, Florida. In 1985 the firm provided construction documents for a large laundry for Orlando Regional Medical Center to serve five of its facilities. This began a long lasting working relationship with the hospital that continues today. Since then, the firm has provided architectural services for a broad range of projects including a emergency department expansions, and outpatient physical therapy clinic, three endoscopy suites, and 8-story parking structure on the ORMC campus, over thirty radiology, cardiology and nuclear medicine projects, additions and alterations to the food services, information services and nursing units.
